To Be Led Gently
Men, take note.
Being gently led means that God is there to remove heavy burdens
so you may move about freely.
Being gently led means God will provide shelter,
under His wings,
so you may take refuge and rest from life's storms;
Being gently led by God means He will quiet you with His love,
sing over you with joy
and, should you cry,
He will catch all your tears
(Psalm 56:8).
He models for you
and tends to you
in the same ways in which you tend to your young.
Being gently led by God means you can approach Him without fear;
Being gently led means that you need not worry about what you have to wear,
what you have to eat,
God knows what you need and He will provide for you
Not only provide but do so with abundance!
The flowers in a field are beautiful,
To be gently led means He will shower you with praise.
More than female.
As the bride to the King of Kings you live within a favored state.
Now is your time to let things fall to the way-side
to focus on what's most important in your life;
God, husband, child.
You need not have the mentality of
"a place for everything and everything in its place".
There is beauty in messes and within chaos too;
someday, every room, (and everything in them), will be spotless and clean
and you might wish to see finger-prints on windows
and such
just one more time.
Enjoy your babe in arms,
enjoy your children while they're little,
take a deep breath,
do your best,
let your motherly instincts take over;
trust that God will gently lead you throughout each day
and that your husband is taking note on how to gently lead you too.
We have duties to attend to
but none so important as the newborn baby in front of us.
Giving my all to raise you up!
