Too Many Cooks

You've probably heard the old saying: "Too many cooks spoils the broth", right?

And, in this over-saturated world of words is there really a need for yours to be heard?

Although too many hands, set upon the task of doing only one thing,
may indeed be one hand too many;
the opposite is also true, we need the whole body in order to do things well and to do them right.

Therefore, if we listen to Scripture, the following is infallible and true:
The body is not made up of one part but of many (I Corinthians 12:14).
Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it (I Corinthians 12:27).

"There is no such thing as too many cooks
when we are being fed by the Holy Spirit" (Lindsay McPhail).

Your words are no less important than others as long as you are seeking to share them from a heart of love, grace and through prayer. If you share, not from a place of superiority, but from a place of sincerity, your words are not too many but will find a place where they belong.

Your story may be similar to
another; however, the similarity will draw you closer to that person.
Each story is valid and needs to be shared.
It's from our testimony's that comfort is freely given and found:
"We can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God"
(II Corinthians 1:4).

And, there is no condemnation we cannot stand up against:
"For all fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

Your story is the story that needs to be told so that darkness is exposed to light.

All things exposed to light become visible and once visible can no longer exist.
This is how habitual chains of sin break and can be replaced by #TheGodHabit instead.

The world is saturated with words, but if you have yet to make your voice heard
then there is not enough people speaking and paving the way for others to follow;
use your words to lead people to the path of righteousness, for His name's sake.

Help people find their way: Use your life's story.
Expose your truth so the freedom you walk within sets others free too.

Be a change-maker, not afraid of creating ripples that become waves; change breaks chains.
