What Do You Get When You Add The Bible And Minecraft Together?

What do you get when you add the Bible and Minecraft together?

The Unofficial Holy Bible For Minecrafters!

A Children's Guide to the New Testament.

There's a myriad of verses about not adding or taking away from Scripture found in the Holy Bible: Revelation 22:18-19; Proverbs 30:5-6; Deuteronomy 4:2; Deuteronomy 12:32; and Galatians 1:6-9

I imagine, this would be, (in part), why the authors (Garrett Romines and Christopher Miko) made sure to title this version of the Bible as "The Unofficial Holy Bible" so as to cut down on confusion and to save their souls.

I personally find nothing sacrilegious about this "unofficial" version of the Bible. Just as Eugene Peterson sought to modernize Scripture within "The Message", to make it more accessible to the every day man and woman of today's world; so, "The Unofficial Holy Bible for Minecrafters" seeks to make the Bible more accessible to today's youth.

Not only accessible but eagerly read by my 12 year old son! I call it a win and a book I highly recommend.

It's not perfect but the illustrations are well done and cause for pause to marvel at. They spur on one's imagination; and, the creative juices of your young "gamer" may be sparked in new directions as to how they can incorporate pieces of the Bible into their Minecraft builds!

The language fun and Minecraft authentic:

The stories and thematics, relatable, good, and true.

Your Calling - Illustration via "The Unofficial Holy Bible for Minecrafters"

It doesn't get clearer, or much better, than that.

Giving my all to raise you up!
