Dreams that are vivid, good or bad, are dreams I pray over, give my attention to and analyze.
I don't often have nightmares but I had one recently and the resounding theme was my paralyzed voice, erupting with life: "Kill 'it' if you can!" brought forward from the depths of my soul, fiercely passionate.
The 'it' being referred to was the world's carnage and evil.
Much like William Wallace in Braveheart:
My soul cries for the type of freedom that only the defeat of evil can bring about.
I am fed-up with political correctness.
Tweet: "I am fed-up with tyranny by a minority that wishes to be seen as a majority" @MomProTitus2.
And, the minority of which I speak is what many refer to as "those on the left".
A recent post from Christian Today:
And, isn't that the truth!
On our own soil we kill innocents; abortion is murder.
On our own soil we are now saying what is wrong is right and what is right is wrong:
The acceptance of homosexual marriage.
Where in the Bible is a man marrying another man,
or a woman marrying another woman, described as right? [No where]
How can a woman, married to another woman, reflect God fully? [They can't]
If we, as Christians, stand up for Scripture we are vilified. If we stand up against a perceived majority we are bullied. We are called bigots and racists.
If we stand up for the Constitution, for the principles our country was founded upon, we're shot down.
I am able to love others without condoning their choices;
I am able to love others while disagreeing with them.
The ironic thing is this: Where is the love from those that disagree with me?
Of course, I am actually okay with the vilification. Why? Because I know who I am. I know myself. I know what I stand for. I know whom I serve. I know who I follow. I am in the best company imaginable:
"If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed,
the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you" (I Peter 4:14).
A man named Joe Livingston III, who identifies himself as a homosexual, wrote this:
"I do not believe my God would create me and ask me to live without love."
True, Joe.
Tweet: "You have not been asked to live without love; God is love" @MomProTitus2.
Any heart desire we have, left unfulfilled, is to be filled by God.
Live for Him and not for self: "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24).
I don't know if God is going to turn the tide of our country's current culture; America has turned its back upon God, I am praying for Jesus' return. I feel as though we are upon the brink of disaster.
This I know, despite not desiring a political bent upon this MomPro platform, from time-to-time, it may be called for and I may be called to it. After all, I believe I am meant to do my part to "kill 'it' if I can".
I will not be silent.
We are to be as "shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves" (Matthew 10:16). There is a time and place for the brashness the likes of which Donald Trump is good at expressing.
Tweet: "Truth can come across as hard-hitting when a world has become blinded by deceit" @MomProTitus2.
No person is without faults, Donald Trump is a divorcee, but so am I. This does not mean that he isn't a man of integrity.
All people have a right to begin again, to redefine themselves, and to live their best in light of God's word and application of it. I like under-dogs, I suppose, as a Christian, it's because I am an underdog too.
May you join me in living out the words of Martin Treptow, "I will work, I will save, I will sacrifice; I will endure. I will fight cheerfully and do my utmost as if the whole issue of the struggle depended on me alone."
May we all do our best to squash the evil that surrounds us, to call it out when we see it, to not cower from it but run to it; be the 'lone wolf' of a counter-attack; be the good man, or woman, who stands up for Biblical Truths, who stands up for what is right,
