until Green Acres Corn Maze opens: This is that weekend!
A family owned farm, each year they unveil their design for the corn maze
usually with a Facebook giveaway for a family of four free tickets.
Last year the theme was super heroes
which of course was the perfect choice
as my girls love their super heroes.
In fact, the farm used a picture of the girls in their costumes,
from the year before,
on the poster advertising the maze
which made the girls feel very honored and special.
We have been going since their opening in 2012,
from the time the girls could barely walk,
and we plan to go at least a few times this year.
The petting area is our favorite,
and thankfully it is right next to the huge jumping pillow they have
and the gem panning area they created in 2017.
Green Acres is located at 8451 Haines Road.
They are open every weekend from the end of September to October 31,
open on weekdays by appointment.
Admission is $12 for ages 12+, $10 for ages 4-11, and free for under 3.
