Divinity Entered The Room

A hush fell over the room.

Oh, there were tears, joy, laughter;

but, also that hush

when

Divinity enters whenever a child is born

fresh from the arms of God

into your own.

The nine months of pregnancy

God was pregnant too;

as you carried your child within

He carried your child too.

In that secret place,

God molded and shaped

and created that heartbeat;

and took great care,

no detail was spared.

We often will say,

Oh, he'll be born when he's ready",

or, we look at a woman,

(but especially her belly);

when her belly-button pops up and out,

like the thermometer pressed into a turkey on Thanksgiving Day,

you know she's ready to pop

and her child's about done.

However, it's God the creator,

who knows when it's time.

When your baby is born;

divinity enters the room.

And, for all the "Ooh's and Ah's",

there is a hush.

Be still and know...

God is there too

rejoicing alongside of you.

No good thing shall be withheld.
