A recent video,
shared by Sheavaun Gales,
has left me praising God for my promised land
even though it hasn't been fully handed to me yet.
You might be in the same boat:
Searching, claiming in prayer;
believing, in faith, that even within the period of waiting and wandering,
long-suffering and living in the "land of the in-between",
your promised land awaits.
It can still be a desert place of the soul;
unless, you're able to turn away from the complaining
and turn the incessant waiting into sweet anticipation.
Your situation not ideal but
When if arrives and materializes,
from the depths of your soul,
you'll stare in wonder and
give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus"
(I Thessalonians 5:17-18)
If you're currently living within "The Land Between",
and need rays of hope to see you through,
I recommend these words
